I have just read your latest news “Letters” article.  What a blessing that so many people benefit by your ministry.  It may not be popular, but may the Lord be well pleased with all that you do as you proclaim the truth and warn people of the dangers and deceptions.

Just know that we also regularly lift you, family and ministry up to the Lord…

Thanks again for a great exposition of the truth concerning "Protestants" and the Roman Catholic organization [The 500th Anniversary of the Reformation Part One].

United States

Your books are SO sound and informative!  Thank you and may the LORD bless and keep you.

Australia

Thank you for this article [The 500th Anniversary of the Reformation Part One].  Yes, we agree that there were (and are) MANY errors among the Reformers.  We also note that it was a movement of our Sovereign God – imperfect as it was…. much, if not most of “Christendom” has gone skulking back to Rome in varying degrees.

We often cringe when Augustine of Hippo is “sainted” and held aloft, when he was a forerunner of Romanism….

Thank you for e-book [The Prophecy of Matthew 24].

Australia

I wanted to pass on the following comments to you from your recent article [Part 1 of The 500th Anniversary of the Reformation: The Reformation’s Accomplishments and Errors and the End of Its Protest]; and I have to say, dear brother, you have done it again!  It is an absolutely excellent, truthful exposé from start to finish!  Thank you for shedding (much needed) light on this very timely subject – especially when so many professing Christians (who wear their so-called “Reformed” title like a badge of honor) will be joining in with this month’s 500th year celebration of the Reformation.  Sadly, too few take the time to really investigate the doctrinal positions of the Reformers or even examine the personal lives of many of their dearly beloved heroes.

I see it so often (mostly online) and it is extremely disappointing.  Yes, while the Reformation ushered in many blessings, this incessant fawning over Luther and Calvin, et al, seems nothing short of idolatry.  Furthermore, it is sad that a majority of these “Reformed Christians” aren’t even the least bit shocked when presented with truth of how these men actually lived – or  when evidence proves that what the Reformers taught and believed runs counter to Holy Scripture.  Instead, they make excuse after excuse, defend them to the hilt, and go on endless rants to protect their idols.  All of which is so dishonoring to the Lord.  Also, it’s very sad that many of the “Reformed” who I’ve personally encountered are generally worldly or compromising in their personal conduct; use Vatican versions of the Bible (seemingly without a thought); partake of Xmas; and other false worship practices…. In addition, many of them pride themselves on not having fallen into the trap of Arminianism, per se – but they have certainly settled into other areas of gross theological error such as infant baptism, etc. (which you mentioned in your article).

I agree with you 100% that one cannot “clean up” or “reform” that which is completely false and utterly heathen.  Tragically, Roman Catholicism is both – and indeed she “is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” (Ref. Rev. 18:2).  Amen!  Therefore, the truth regarding the errors of the Reformation and (in particular) the Reformers (who, as you wrote, were merely “reformed” Papists) needs to be exposed.  God’s Word clearly warns  true Christians in 2 Corinthians 6:17: “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

I pray that when I circulate your article the Lord will open up hearts and minds in a way that only He can – to see the truth for what it is concerning the Reformers and the Reformation.  Amen!  And as God wills, I look forward to reading the rest of your installments on this topic.  Excellent, excellent work!

[The Prophecy of Matthew 24] is the best, clearest, and most accurate exposition of this chapter I have ever read.  I agree with you in this great work, certainly I believe the Lord was your guiding force.  I will recommend it to others, and it shall be a great source of study to myself.  May the Lord continue to bless.

I just read your first article on the Reformation [The Reformation’s Accomplishments and Errors, and the End of Its Protest].  It’s very good!  I wish I had a mailing list to send it out to.  I found myself speaking out loud, saying “yes!”  It’s so sad that many ‘protestants’ are believing and saying exactly what you mention in your article; that the ‘church’ of Rome was a true church before such and such a date!  And, of course, almost idolizing certain Reformers.  The more I have learned about the harlot daughters, and the more I hear “Reformed” ministers speak, the more I see that you are absolutely right in saying that Rome has won.  Of course, she hasn’t in the end, but as far as the Reformation goes, she has won.  I heard someone say that if Rome would just believe the truth about justification by faith alone, that it (RC) would be part of the true Christian Church.  I love your line that Protestants have no popes!  It is evident that most professing Christians do not know history, or they pick and choose which history they will believe.  I’ve heard that excuse that the Reformers “were a product of their time” many times.  Your example that if their persecution took place today, what would the defenders of Luther and Calvin et al say about it, is very good.  Many certainly do dismiss the evils of some of the Reformers because they happened so long ago, and because they revere them so much.

We are truly being blessed by your ‘Christ in the Book of Isaiah’ Bible/study/commentary [The Lord Jesus Christ in the Book of Isaiah series of recorded sermons].

United States

Many blessings to you and it is a wonderful privilege to use the Lord’s money to support a ministry such as yours and that the Lord greatly blesses as you stand for the Truth of His most Holy Word which we love.  We love you in the Lord and we continually pray for you.

Australia

Thanks for the book [The Prophecies of Daniel], I am only up to page 64 at the moment, how absorbing.  I had never thought of prophecy in that way before, but it is so very true.  Keep writing!  The Lord Jesus richly bless you.

England

Yes, it is disgusting and, in a great sense, puzzling as to why these two earthly organizations are melting together [response to the article Rome and the Reformed Institutions].  But when we see the certainty that both are of the false church, and, in essence, antichrist, with both preaching false doctrine in different tones, the togetherness for financial and political cause makes understanding but, for me, still a lie in both camps.

Salvation, as it is in Christ Jesus, is not an “organizational” clamor or effort, but is by the grace and sacrifice of Christ for His elect children.

Thanks again for writing truth in the light of the Gospel and exposition of Satanism.

United States

Your recent articles and book [The Prophecy of Matthew 24] have proved a blessing as always…. The book exposes the difficulty many have had over retaining the customary meaning of a ‘generation’ when some events appeared to be future.  Jesus emphatically pronounced those days as the greatest tribulation ever – the fig tree had been cursed and would never bear fruit again.  Today’s ‘Jews’ are not even Semites but true Christians are Jews…. So many are seduced today believing the ‘Jews’ to be racially special, missing the apparent injustice of these privileges only applying to Jews alive when Christ returns to set up his kingdom on earth.

England

I was so grateful to receive your e-book on Matthew 24…. oh how I would love to hear [a] sermon now on Matthew 24, and my friend in the USA is also asking me now, as she has come to see more about AD 70, as we also are now seeing…. we have seen for some time that the true Israel of God are God’s chosen elect people of Jews and Christians, not the nation of Israel, but we are classed as “replacement theology” as you would know.

England

A hearty Thank You for all your work and the thoroughness with which it is undertaken.  No stone is left unturned.  We are left in no doubt when we read your accounts of history, whether past or present, that we are hearing about the reality of individuals living for, or in the case of Rome standing against, the Most High.  When we are faced with the frailties of the saints we are encouraged in our own weakness to persevere realising that they were much like us.

Recent marvellous account of David Livingstone [the pamphlet The Life and Legacy of David Livingstone, by Shaun Willcock] – warts and all.  And also the series on the Reformation.  Looking forward to every consecutive part.

May each man raise his banner today for Christ – the trowel in one hand and a sword in the other.  It was ever thus.  ‘Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest’ (Eccl. 9:10).

Scotland

This is another great article [Rome and the Reformed Institutions].  The “reformed” camp, it seems, was and is mostly the harlot’s daughters.  I heard, yet again, the idolatry of Luther by Lutherans as I was listening to a radio show where one of the hosts is Lutheran.  The discussion was about Luther’s horrible comments about Jews.  Not their false doctrines, but that they should be treated brutally and their property destroyed etc.  The Lutheran said that his comments and actions had to be considered in the context in which he lived.  Why not say that about David or Lot?

Have you heard what John Piper has now said regarding Justification?  He claims that we are indeed justified by grace at the time we are born again but that there is another justification for “final salvation” which is by our good works.  He is obviously a false teacher, yet many professing Christians in the neo-Calvinist, ‘reformed’ camp still love him.  It’s mind-boggling to see how many so-called Protestant preachers are moving more and more toward Rome.  There is, right now, a satanic conference called the “Kairos Conference” where such wolves as Kenneth Copeland and Mike Bickel unite with Romanists and to promote unity.  It’s everywhere!

United States

I am delighted to see that the following [MP3] series is now available: Liberalism, Neo-Orthodoxy, and New Evangelicalism.  People are so misled and deceived by the vast majority of pastors.  Surely a timely message.  May it open many eyes to the glory of God.

There is also this story that Rev. 17 is not at all about Rome: it is just the world.  I wonder how you must come out of her (Rev 18:4) if chapter 17 is just the world.  ‘It is just a fancy story,’ they say, but they never say why they say so.  Simply dismiss it!

The Bible names names when it comes to those who claim to be the Lord’s servants but who proclaim heresy (e.g. 1 Tim. 1:19, 20; 2 Tim. 2:17, 18; 4:14, 15; etc.).  For this reason we are reproducing the following emails from one Morgan Sorensen, who operates “Morgan Sorensen Ministries” in the USA.  This man is a Pentecostal, and anyone who understands the unbiblical nature of Pentecostalism will not be taken in by him; but even so, there may be those, particularly new converts or believers who have not been well grounded in the Scriptures, who could fall victim to his teachings.  There are many false prophets in the world, and they must be exposed and refuted.

(Email 1)

Shaun Willcock, I came across your article, Faith Like Potatoes, or Biblical Faith, and read it in its entirety.  I am a Pentecostal missionary/Bible prophecy teacher and author, in ministry since 1963 (the year you were born).  I wish to correct you on your false assertion that the “Charismatic movement” and Biblical “Pentecostalism” are somehow ‘linked’.  My parents were “pioneer” Pentecostal (Assemblies of God affiliated) missionaries to Mozambique, and later South Africa (since 1935).

True “Pentecostalism” is completely Biblical, whereas “Charismaticism” is an imitation, and a fraud.  True Pentecostals adhere to the Word of God, as found in the KJV Bible, and in no other book in the English language that calls itself a Bible.

It is clear to me that you are not cognizant of what true Pentecostalism represents, possibly because you are a “neophyte”, both in age and in Biblical knowledge of the truth.

But I am pretty sure that you as a young kid (in 1983) never encountered true Pentecostals, as it was ‘dying out’ in South Africa, being taken over by the FRAUD of the “Charismatic movement.”

I am Armenian in theology, Wesleyan in doctrine and “True Pentecostal” in belief!  That’s the ONLY true gospel of the Scriptures, and your “orientation” is decidedly heretical!!

Morgan Sorensen, United States

(Our reply)

Sadly you write with the typical attitude of so many Pentecostals, who are convinced they dwell on a higher plane of spiritual experience than all the rest of us.  Just a few points in reply to your letter, but please do not waste my time with pointless replies asserting the errors of Pentecostalism:

1) The fact that you have been “in ministry” since 1963 is utterly irrelevant, if the “ministry” you have been in is false (as it is).  The fact that I was born then is just as irrelevant.

2) You write of “Biblical Pentecostalism”.  This is a contradiction in terms, for Pentecostalism has never been biblical; it is a distortion of those texts in Acts and 1 Corinthians which are quoted and preached upon, ad nauseam, by Pentecostals, to the virtual exclusion of anything else.  Consecutive expository preaching of “all the counsel of God” (Acts 20:27) is something almost unknown within Pentecostalism.  They are too busy with their sensationalist claims to “healings” and “miracles”, and too taken with their lying “tongues” and “prophecies”, to truly “give themselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word” (see Acts 6:4).

3) Charismatism and Pentecostalism are most definitely linked, despite your denial.  Of course, much of what passes for “Charismatism” these days is far worse, even, than the original Charismatism of the 1960s and afterwards, and is far more heretical than classical Pentecostalism.  But both are heresies, and doctrinally, classical Pentecostalism and early Charismatism were essentially the same (with a few minor differences).

4) Although I was born in 1963, I can’t possibly be a “neophyte” in years as this is now 2017 – over five decades later (although it would not matter in the least if I was: 1 Tim. 4:12); and as for being a “neophyte” in biblical knowledge, I leave that to the Lord, who will judge of my ministry as He will all others.  I seek not to please men, but God.

5) You assume I never encountered true Pentecostals; yet I was one myself, and moved in Pentecostal circles in those days.  And you are completely incorrect that Pentecostalism was dying out in SA at that time.

6) The heresy, Sir, is on your side, not mine: Pentecostalism’s heresy regarding the Bible; its heresy regarding the Holy Spirit; and its heresy of brazenly lying to people about “gifts” which are simply fraudulent.

7) Last point: you accuse me of being a “neophyte” in biblical knowledge, and yet you do not know the difference between being an Arminian and being an Armenian.  Therefore, you are hardly in a position to judge who is a “neophyte” and who is not.  To be an Arminian is to hold to the heretical theology of Arminius and those who followed him (Wesley is a prime example and was extremely unbiblical in his theology); whereas to be an Armenian is to be of the people who hail from the land of Armenia.

I urge you to properly examine the lying doctrines of Pentecostalism, and may the Lord yet open your eyes. – Shaun Willcock

I will not ‘waste your time’ with any response other than to say, that your ‘unteachable’ ARROGANT attitude speaks volumes of your condescension and scriptural Ignorance!!!

You as a young ‘wet behind the ears’ Neophyte, back in 1980, could never have encountered ‘True Pentecostalism’, as it was almost ‘dead’ in South Africa by the mid sixties, and your professing to have had such experience is not only laughable, but downright ridiculous.

My parents had one of the last ‘signs and wonders’ ministries that came to a close in 1959, when we went back to Norway on furlough, and actually had “Crusades” with the Voice of Healing ministries from Dallas, Texas.  I have seen miracles of healing under my father’s ministry that boggles the mind.  But I will not bore you with such FACTS, as I learned a long time ago, that the HARDEST thing to open is a DUMB CLOSED MIND.   And you must be the DUMBEST I have yet to encounter, so crawl back under your rock of IGNORANCE, MORON!!!!!

Morgan Sorensen

(Our reply)

This is the type of response I have come to expect from so many ranting Pentecostals, so utterly convinced they exist on a higher plane, as I said last time.  Quick to scream “unteachable”, yet why is it only the “other side” who in your opinion is unteachable?  Are you open to instruction?  Clearly not.  I note you ignored pretty much everything I wrote in my reply, which I am not surprised at.  This is the usual way with Pentecostals.

You repeat your argument that “true Pentecostalism” was almost dead in SA by the mid-1960s; and yet I, who lived in SA, attended Pentecostal churches, studied through a Pentecostal theological college, and all the rest of it.  Sir, you speak from woeful ignorance of even recent history, let alone Scripture.

Your parents had no such “ministry” as you describe, for no such “ministry” as “signs and wonders” has existed since the apostolic age.  As for witnessing “miracles of healing”, this is the tired old argument Pentecostals trot out time after time – that they have “seen things”.  I am not interested in what you have “seen”, Sir; people in all false religions “see” all kinds of things, but this does not make them genuine.

What a loving Christian you are, to call me “dumb”, “closed”, “the dumbest”, a “moron”.  You must have learned how to use language like that on your opponents from some “message in tongues” or lying “prophecy” or “vision”, for you certainly did not learn it from Christ or any of His apostles.  But then again, for all their boasted knowledge, the Bible is essentially a closed book to so many Pentecostals, who focus almost solely on Acts and 1 Corinthians, because after all – they “have the Spirit”!  Or so they believe.  And yet the true Holy Spirit does not lead any man to speak this way merely because another disagrees with him.

A dumb fool for Christ’s sake – Shaun Willcock

(Email 3)

Shaun Willcock, you are an ARROGANT Jerk and a MORON!!

Get yourself a copy of the book, “Miracle in Mozambique” (available from the Canadian Assemblies of God)… and open your – [profanity deleted] eyes and closed mind.  Read the memoirs of Smith Wigglesworth (whom my mother knew personally) and discover what an IDIOT YOU ARE.

Better yet, read my book, entitled THE RAPTURE AND ITS SEVEN DIFFERENT ORDERS, and discover that you are up against the ‘World’s foremost expositor of Eschatology’ in my person, that can make you look like the third grader you are!!! You ARROGANT Moron.

Don’t even bother to respond you spiritual – (vulgarity)!!

Morgan Sorensen

(Our reply)

Swearing, mocking, name-calling – and boasting that you are the world’s foremost expositor of eschatology.

There is indeed no purpose in responding further.  I have done as Prov. 26:5 says: “Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit”; but this having had no effect, now I must obey Prov. 26:4: “Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.”  For with you it is as it says in Prov. 27:22: “Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.”  Your own words condemn you.

“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes” (Prov. 12:15).  “A wise man feareth, and departeth from evil: but the fool rageth, and is confident” (Prov. 14:16).  “Excellent speech becometh not a fool” (Prov. 17:7).  “Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding” (Prov. 17:28).  Please hold your peace, Sir, shut your lips – for your own sake, lest you proceed from swearing and name-calling to blaspheming. – Shaun Willcock

(Email 4)

Shaun Willcock, – and – is not swearing, but expressions of disgust for someone as DEPLORABLE as yourself…

We sponsored Tommy Hicks in Norway and Sweden, in 1964 and 1965, with wonderful meetings and marvelous healings.  You go find and read the documented accounts of the Argentine revival with Tommy Hicks, and you will find IRREFUTABLE PROOF from many other sources of this reality, and in the process discover what an unteachable FOOL you are!!!  We had crusades in 1960, 1961 and 1962 in Norway, with Gordon and Freda Lindsey, David Nunn, Richard Culpepper, Richard Vineyard, Clifton Erickson, Tommy Hicks, and others.  These are people that we were privileged to know and serve with, and to read your asinine and mindless comments to the contrary, that God’s Holy Spirit somehow does not empower in our day, shows what an “Antichrist Spirit” you have !!

Your denying Acts 12:28, that “God set in the Church Apostles, Prophets, Teachers, the Working of Miracles, Gifts, Healings, etc. (which means as long as the Church is HERE ON EARTH, all those things that God ‘Set in the Church’, must be part of the TRUE CHURCH !!!  Which exposes your so called “ministry” as a FRAUD and HERETICAL DECEPTION.  As well as your DENIAL, the HOLY SPIRIT will be with us ALWAYS, as per Jn.14:16.

You are truly an IGNORANT NEOPHYTE, and a real JERK at that!!!!  You must be the worst IDIOT I have EVER had the displeasure to interact with.  Adios Amigo
