Thank you for another thorough, well-written, well-researched article on the Vatican – this one entitled The Vatican Archives on Pius XII to be Opened.  As true believers, this article serves as a further reminder of the treacherous, blasphemous, lying, crafty and diabolically cruel system that is Roman Catholicism – and how she has NOT changed. She has never changed and she never will. The papacy is the same “habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird,” that Scripture warns us about in Revelations 18:2.  These articles should spur each one of us to pray fervently for those poor souls who are ensnared in this wicked system.  Our hope should be that, by God’s grace, these individuals will do as the Lord’s Word beckons, which is to: “come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you…” (2 Corinthians 6:17). Amen!

Pius, as you wrote, was anything but pious – and Roman Catholicism is NOT biblical Christianity – not in any way, shape, or form.  We must never lose sight of that truth.   In fact, as your article quoted, Rome has blood all over her hands.  Furthermore, we must never make peace with Rome and we must abandon any and every Romish trapping that we have in our lives.  In this, we must remain resolved and steadfast.

It is so horrible to read of the evils of Pius XII, his association and protection of the Nazis as well as his support of the barbarous RC persecution in Croatia.  It’s incredible the sin and brutality – as every Pope of Rome was/is brutal and sinful.  How accurately did Charles Spurgeon write when he penned the following: “Popery is as much the masterpiece of Satan as the gospel is the masterpiece of God. There can scarcely be imagined anything of devilish craftiness or Satanic wickedness which could be compared with her, she is unparalleled, the queen of iniquity. Behold upon her forehead the name, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. The church of Rome and her teachings are a vast mountain of rubbish covering the truth.” Amen!  So true!

Shaun, your sermons on Christ in the book of Isaiah have been such a blessing and have created a greater love for our Father as you shed solid understanding.  The study on Isaiah 9.6 on Sunday gave such a deeper picture.  Honestly, prior to this every time I read verses about Christ’s birth I found my mind thinking on the whole worldly-Catholic imprint.  It’s nice to have that replaced with the truth!  What a gracious God we have that reveals His treasures to His people upon this earth.  Thank you for all you do.
