Our purpose in publishing a sampling of the correspondence we have received, in the words of Arthur W. Pink:

“…the time has again arrived for us to indicate to our loyal supporters before the Throne of Grace something of the manner and extent to which the Hearer of prayer has been pleased to grant their requests.”
“Our object in compiling this…feature is to evoke praise and thanksgiving on the part of those who are most deeply interested in this work, by quoting excerpts from some of the letters at hand telling of help and blessing received, under God…”
“Our purpose…is to evoke praise unto the Lord, that in this cloudy and dark day He is still ministering to His own, giving seed to the Sower, and then blessing the same unto the eater.  We know not why the mighty God should condescend to use one so feeble and unworthy; sufficient for us that He is pleased to do so.  Our longing is to be used more widely, in sending ‘portions’ to a large number of Christ’s scattered and hungry sheep.  Will you not pray more definitely, dear reader, that this may be so; and that God will graciously fit and furnish the writer.”

Recently I listened to each of your Revelation 15 and 16 sermons at least twice, but most of them were listened to three times.  And as always it was and is a tremendous blessing and at the same time I find it frustrating that the majority of professing Christians are not interested in listening to them as they do not advocate the Futurist theory.  Again, thank you so much for all the effort, time, studying and praying that you invest in them.

I have given your CDs with encouraging messages to many individuals and none of them have uttered a word about them.  Just complete silence.  And often I have offered more CDs and they would not even take them to listen to them.  I cannot understand why they are not encouraged by them or why they react so strangely.  Is this South Africa?  Does this tie in with the appalling state of the Church in the century after the World Wars?  I am now even more aware of the horrible state of the professing Church and also how I myself have been conditioned with absolutely unbiblical trends since those wars.  Our society has been moulded into what we have accepted as normal.

I have just finished reading your latest Postbox and Inbox and find it amazing that there are no letters from South Africa.  Either South Africans do not read your articles or they are too tired to respond and “protect” their Mandela god from being exposed for what he really is.

I almost want to say, “Please hurry up with Revelation!”  Please forgive me my rudeness; I know patience is a virtue.  I am just like so many others so much looking forward to listening to them.  Today, even among the Historicist interpretations, expository preaching on Revelation is rare if ever it exists somewhere at all.  And not all makes sense.  Sometimes I do not know how preachers come to what they say.  I love the way you deal with the Scriptures.  Again, thank you for all your hard work that put into that, but not only that, all your other sermons as well.

South Africa

We hope that you and your family are doing well and that you are enjoying peace as well within your country at this time.  There is so much political unrest these days all across the globe and terrorist attacks seem to be on the rise both in our country and abroad.  The attack on the Shopping Mall in Kenya is a painful reminder that we are living in very troublesome times….Violent crimes seem to be on the rise.  The Roman Catholic clergy abuse scandal continues to unfold and their vile crimes continue to receive extensive media coverage.  From what I have read, the new pope has done little to instill confidence in the many Catholics that have already abandoned their pews.  Many dioceses in the US have been forced into bankruptcy; many churches have been forced to close and the settlements they have been forced to pay abuse victims continues to skyrocket.  I truly believe that God is exposing the church of antichrist in our day and shaming them in a very public way. [We] are truly grateful the Lord brought us out of that den of iniquity and for leading us both into a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We both hope that Christ will come quickly!

Shaun, you remain very much in our thoughts and prayers.  May God be pleased to prosper your labours in the Lord and keep you and your loved ones out of harm’s way.

United States

Ministries such as yours are vital.  People are being deceived by false teaching and need to be exposed to the truth.  I will be adding you to my regular prayer list and trust that our wonderful Saviour will bless you and the work that He has entrusted you with.

Australia

We read your latest “letters” [Postbox and Inbox] and liked very much your response to the person who asked to be removed from your mailing list because of your “Calvinistic” views.  Your response was great.  Yes, praise our Lord for delivering us from such error.  It is SO fleshly and flat-out denies the Lord's sovereignty.  It’s crazy that Arminians shun God’s absolute authority and sovereignty, but when they pray (actually, demanding God to do whatever they’re asking) they are believing that this same, impotent “god” of theirs can answer their prayers!  Specifically, I speak of Charismatics, but it applies to non-Charismatic Arminians as well I think.

So what do you think of the Roman pope saying even atheists will go to heaven?  My question is, why aren’t all the hundreds of millions of RC’s outraged?!  They have to go to mass, do penance, do their rosary, pay their indulgences, confession etc. to get to heaven and these lazy atheists can get there without all that as long as their consciences are clear!  What a joke, as if man has a morally upright conscience!  Obviously Antichrist has no understanding of human depravity.

Happily it appears we will not be bombing Syria any time soon!  How hilarious that the Russian dictator Putin is made to look like a reasonable, peaceful man compared to our president!  The Lord’s will will be done.  I always think of the Assyrian armies when I think of our own military.  It’s not a pleasant prospect for this country’s future!

Read the 30 year report [Bible Based Ministries Newsletter: Special 30th Anniversary Edition] – amazing that time has gone by so fast…. It has been an amazing journey.

United States

Wow, 30 years of dedicated service to God.  Much trial and tribulation along the way and we can see from afar that you only gained strength and grace from God because of it.  You never wavered in faith to proclaim the Gospel.  You know full well what it is to be hated for serving God… not just a short time but for all those years.  You stood tall and we know it was the power of God that kept you on your feet.  Thanks so much.

United States

Your 30th Anniversary Newsletter is of great encouragement to us, as we were once in the Pentecostal (Arminian) church, but by God’s mercy and grace, were brought to see the errors, and much that you described was similar to our own experience.

May the Lord continue to bless and strengthen you, as you contend for the truth.

England

We both enjoyed very much reading your article on the history of your ministry!  What a testimony to the Lord’s goodness and providence in the lives of his people.

United States

Thank you for your beautiful testimony and the work you are doing.  One line touched me because it is recognizable in my life; “I longed for holiness…”

I’m a little more than halfway through the book [The Life and Ministry of Samson the Strong] and it is extremely encouraging to me on so many different levels – as a believer, as a parent, etc.  I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work in putting it together….  It is truly strengthening and edifying, which is what I need right now.  It reminds the reader of the beauty and the majesty of God’s Sovereignty and the abundance of His grace toward His own.

United States

Thank you! thank you!  Thanks a lot brother Shaun.  Again I say thank you, we have received your book on Samson [The Life and Ministry of Samson the Strong].  It is a blessing to us!  I have nothing to say but to give thanks and glory to God.

Kenya

I have downloaded and printed some copies [of articles from Bible Based Ministries] for our members.  It is a great revelation.  We can’t forget what we are getting from you.  The book you sent to us, The Life and Ministry of Samson the Strong, has touched many and has helped me to teach more… we thank you so much.

This time here many people are now fueled with the… spirit of the Christmas celebration.  We thank God that we knew earlier from you [about this festival].  Thank you again for helping us, and we are helping others out of this celebration.

Kenya

Thanks for this, Shaun [the article The Truth About Alberto Rivera]; I was hoping that you would do something on Alberto Rivera so that I can give it to the gentleman selling his comics that I told you about.  Every blessing!

England

Thank you… for exposing some truth about Alberto Rivera, which really brought some critical responses my way.

United States

I happened to stumble onto your web site, and because you called it Bible Based Ministries I was very keen.  The first article I was about to read was on Alberto Rivera [The Truth About Alberto Rivera], and you said he was a fraud.  I think and I know that you and your cohorts are the frauds, you are all cooks, conspiracy buffs, agents of the Illuminati and the Jesuits, who are wolves in sheeps’ skin.

May our Lord be pleased to supply all your needs and add the increase to your labours in the glorious gospel of His free and sovereign grace and continue to use your ministry to advance his Kingdom.

United States

Just a short note to say thank you for the CDs which arrived intact on Saturday.  I listened to two of them yesterday and the first one already answered many questions regarding the Puritans…. Your proper and careful exegesis is much appreciated.  May it be a blessing to many of God’s people.

South Africa

I am slowly reading through your book “Holy War” Against South Africa which makes sad reading, but it is comforting to know the Lord will overcome all His enemies either by judgement or conversion.  May the Lord do a great work yet in South Africa and may you be provided for.

England

Just read The Vatican and the “Occupy Wall Street” Movement by Shaun Willcock – great article.

Country unknown (email)

I remember reading something you said, “All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”  That is one of the blessings of your ministry.  You take a stand for the truth.

United States

(Note: the above quotation is from Edmund Burke and is so true, and for Christians it is true on an even higher plane. – Shaun Willcock)

Thank you, Shaun, been waiting for this [the article The Media Myth and Global Cult of Nelson Mandela]. God bless.

England

[After Nelson Mandela died] All I can say is… let the propaganda about his life’s “legacy” begin.  The flood of hogwash is already ensuing on this end.  But we know the truth and we must stay strong in the Lord!  And when and where we can, we should inform others of the truth regarding this man.  Your articles about him have been tremendously instrumental.  Thank you, again!

United States

This is the truth – thank you, I forwarded it to many people who are blind! [the articles The Media Myth and Global Cult of Nelson Mandela and Lest We Forget: the Truth About Nelson Mandela].

South Africa

Matthew Henry wrote the following in his commentary on 1 Samuel 31: 8-13, which is so timely considering the recent death of Nelson Mandela. Henry wrote: “While pompous funerals, grand monuments, and the praises of men, honour the memory of the deceased, the soul may be suffering in the regions of darkness and despair! Let us seek that honour which cometh from God only.”  Amen to that!  And because it doesn’t appear that Mandela ever repented of his sins and trusted the Lord Jesus Christ, he is truly, “suffering in the regions of darkness and despair.”  It is incredibly tragic and his own sins put him there!

United States

Many thanks for this enlightening message [The Media Myth and Global Cult of Nelson Mandela].  We have been bombarded here with Mandela news for the past two weeks now.  Pity they can’t tell us here of the murders of the white South African people.  But what can you expect from the controlled media here.

England

There is one man who has, for many years, consistently spoken from the house tops against injustice in South Africa, and that man is Shaun Willcock: and in his efforts in bringing the truth of South Africa to South Africa and the whole world, he does not take secondary place to anyone in exposing the atrocities of Nelson Mandela. Truly, but truly, I am not against freedom for all and voting rights for all in South Africa (or any other place in the world), but it is not necessary nor does it bring in freedom for all when a system of communism/socialism is brought in to replace any previous system of government.  How is it possible for anyone to embrace Mandela and his system of government when he fully embraced Castro, Stalin and other communist leaders?

United States

You may not know this but a lot of conservative Tea Partiers in this country are praising Mandela!  Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Mark Orubio whose parents fled Communist Cuba under Castro had nothing but glowing remarks for Mandela.  Unbelievable!  Even Governor Mike Huckabee, supposedly a Christian, once a Pastor, on his weekly Saturday night program on Fox News took a whole section of his hour to honor the great man of peace and kindness!  I believe Sarah Palin had glowing words for Mandela.  All these people are Fox News contributors, Vatican/Saudi controlled. So all day long for the past 3 days dozens of times a day Mandela is praised and lauded as a great hero and greatest man in history.  It’s so sickening that I have turned the TV off for the last few days.  Our flags are flying at half mast!  Presidents Carter, Clinton, Bush, Hillary, Obama are attending his funeral!  The world has gone mad.  It’s truly insane!  We’ve been taken over by a coup and just don’t know it yet.  People are beginning to wake up, but it’s too late!  Freedom didn’t mean much, but now that they have lost it, and their eyes are being opened, it’s becoming a big deal!  But it’s too late.  I’m going to order some of your books….  Time’s short, the Lord is coming and it can’t happen too soon for me! God bless you.

United States

I appreciate many of your articles dearly but that doesn’t mean that I agree with you.  Especially, the issues you have with your former president ‘Madiba” as well as with many others.  Every human has got issues and has got a dark past.  Nelson wasn’t a “saint” and that makes him human.  Being called all sorts of names by white minority oppressors he continued to reach out to them with a forgiving heart. I for one clearly remember how we (The Blacks) suffered under the whites and God Himself can testify to that effect.  But we don’t hold it against them and move on.  Today we are landless, left in abject poverty, many hopeless but we have God.  Many of our forefathers got killed for standing up against the white rule and remember 90 percent called themselves Christians.  They became rich and wealthy on behest of majority blacks but we are content with what we have (WHICH IS FREEDOM).  I am getting emotional when I talk or think about what blacks gone through the past 400 years. Please, let’s forget and forgive these so-called terrorists and leave judgement to God alone.  Pray rather for those idolising Mandela and others and continue with your calling without favor.

Namibia

(Our Reply):

Thank you for your email.  However, it is evident your support for a terrorist like Mandela has meant you have not paid attention to what was written in the articles you received.  Those two articles were packed with documented evidence of Mandela’s terrorism and other things.  There is no escaping this, nor any justification whatsoever for defending the man or holding him up as a hero.  And for any professed Christian to speak well of such a man is, to put it plainly, sinful before God.  Would you speak well of such wicked men as Nebuchadnezzar, Ahab, Jeroboam, Hitler, Stalin?  Mandela is no different whatsoever.

Your language about “white minority oppressors” is, also, partially incorrect…. I agree with you that the Germans who ruled South West Africa [today Namibia] were often extremely cruel and oppressive.  But calling them “white minority” is unnecessary, for the simple reason that democracy (“majority rule”) is not more biblical or right than any other system.  It really doesn’t matter that the whites were a minority.  All the black nations of Namibia are minorities as well.  There is in fact no such thing, in truth, as a “black majority”, as “black” or “white” are just colours.  There are many tribes or nations.  In addition, even if there were just two nations – a majority nation and a minority nation – why is it right for the majority to rule the minority?  You place far too much importance on democracy, which is a human invention and usually means nothing more than a dictatorship in another form. Certainly this is so in Africa.

You are also incorrect to say that blacks do not hold anything against whites and have moved on.  This is certainly not true.  Blacks constantly hold everything against whites (certainly in South Africa), they are full of vengeance and have NOT “moved on”, but are taking every opportunity to reverse apartheid and to oppress whites.

As for forefathers standing up against oppressors with violence, this is never right and is sinful before God, even when the oppressors are cruel.  Yes, 90% of the whites called themselves Christians – and they were not true Christians at all.  But this does not make violent revolution and terrorism right.  Never.  And large numbers of black terrorists called themselves Christians too, but they were no more Christian than the whites who falsely called themselves Christian.

To call such wicked men “so-called terrorists” is sinful, for it is a lie, and it is whitewashing their evil: they WERE terrorists and there is no escaping that, it is a fact.  As you admitted in your email, you were emotional.  But emotions are not what we should go by; only factual truth.  Whites have often oppressed blacks, and now blacks are oppressing whites.  Is the one wrong and the other right?  Both are wrong.  Christ the Lord does not call any of His followers to support terrorism or murder or revolution. That is all there is to it.

It is time for you to stop reading emotionally and start thinking these through properly.  If you claim to be a Christian, you cannot support black terrorism or oppression and then write as if only whites are oppressors, and as if a violent revolution is right.  It is a vile sin in the eyes of God. – Shaun Willcock

[After Nelson Mandela’s death] Let’s take off our religion, political affiliations and be human for a minute.  Don’t use the church to be a bully.  In my eyes you are no different than the subject you write about. Teaching hatred and intolerance for anything outside of what you believe.  I don’t believe Nelson Mandela was a saint of any kind but I believe he along with others fought for what they believed in.  It isn’t about God, religion, or politics but about the human beings that lived it.

Country unknown (email)

Bible Based Ministries I am very disappointed in you, does Christianity preach Apartheid?  Apartheid is like slavery.  Is this what Jesus Christ wishes Christians to do?  Does Jesus support force ruling or freedom?  Christianity is all about democracy and freedom…

Bible Based Ministries if you are preaching that Apartheid is right, it shows that this page is crime.  And this page is anti Christian.  Apartheid is oppression, slavery, and torture of Blacks on African land by Whites.  Is this Jesus Christ’s thought?

Christopher Columbus was assigned to preach Christianity from Spain, he ended it up by killings, torture, oppression, raping and dictatorship, which is different from what Jesus Christ said.  Jesus said if you enter an unbeliever’s house to preach my word, if he/she refuses, take your shoes and leave peacefully.  Where does Jesus say it is by force?

Bible Based Ministries what you comment about Mandela shows that you are White Nationalists and preach white supremacy.  I thought this is a garden to express and defend for both Black and White Christians, now I realise is for only White Christians.

Bible Based Ministries you are a disgrace to Christianity all over the world.  Reverse your post of supporting Apartheid, and preach peace.

Jesus Christ does not support oppression, raping, torture, killing of other races, Apartheid is all about Slavery.

Christianity is all about FREEDOM not Apartheid.

Bible Based Ministries may you rot in hell for supporting killings of blacks in JESUS’ NAME AMEN.

(Note: the grammar, etc., in the email above has been somewhat corrected for publication here.  This email is full of confusion and factual distortion, and is clearly written from utter ignorance of what Bible Based Ministries is all about.  This email is very typical of those so blinded by hatred and so indoctrinated in the false “gospel” of “liberation theology” that they think any opposition to Communism in Africa means one preaches white domination and oppression of blacks. – Shaun Willcock)

I’d like to thank you too for all your hard work, as usual.  We’ve been going through your explanation of Daniel’s prophecies, and they have been very enlightening and encouraging.  You may like to know that some weeks ago when I was being pressured from my classmates about what I believe (again) I printed off your gospel tract Some Straight Talking and handed out copies to everyone I could.  Most of them weren’t interested, but a few were, and although I haven’t seen anything since who knows what the Lord may do through even these simple means?  So thank you very much for that tract, and indeed for everything you do.  We cannot find anything to compare with it!

An excellent article [The Antichrist, by Shaun Willcock]…. There are many antichrists and always have been, and every free-will, works religionist, makes up the whole family of the harlot daughters; Rome truly is the mother of these harlot daughters, but the antichrist is, and always will be the pope of Rome.  Our Lord Jesus is the true Prophet, Priest and King; the blaggard in Rome truly is the false prophet, priest and king, for he usurps all these offices of the Lord Jesus taking them upon himself.  The Lord bless you.

I have benefitted enormously from your writings and do really appreciate what you are doing.

Just finished Satan’s Seat.  I am really impressed, an excellent book, so I would like to share it with all my fellow Christian friends.

I am interested in all your articles.  I am Deaf BSL user (British Sign Language)…. I am a Bible teacher for Deaf Christians at a Free Grace Deaf Church.  I would like to use some of your articles so that I can teach the Deaf Christians in sign language because they cannot understand reading English.  Please may I have your permission to use your article, A Message to Protestants?

Thank you for standing up for the Word of God and taking a stand against the evil Roman Catholic Antichrist System.  I pray that God will bless your ministry immensely.

I was brought up in a Wesleyan Methodist Church, i.e. the Church of God (Holiness) a hyper Arminian movement.  I attended grade school through high school in that movement and was unbelievably programmed into their false doctrine.  After high school and marriage to my wife who had also been brought up in the movement we took Arminianism to its logical conclusion and went into the new age movement i.e., Unity School of Christianity.  God marvelously brought us out of that movement but then we went into Pentecostalism for a while.  After much study and prayer we ended up in a Reformed Presbyterian Church, but it wasn’t long before God through His word revealed unto us the errors of infant baptism, so I became an elder in the Primitive Baptist Church…. Shortly though I was excommunicated because the teaching elder started promoting false doctrine and upholding adultery.

After visiting many churches and finding only false teaching I began [a] House Church in 2006….

I am so glad I was sent a link to your website which was forwarded to me from a friend of mine….

May God continue to bless you and your family and thanks again for standing for the truth contained in God’s Word.
