Dear brother Shaun, I thank you for your great testimony by our Great God [in the Bible Based Ministries Newsletter 35th Anniversary Edition]! It has moved me to tears…. It was such an encouragement too, to my dear husband and I, as we too went through all the steps of the charismatic and pentecostal movement in our earlier days, but the Lord has taught us and we are at one with you in sovereign grace…
How wonderfully the Lord has used you all these years, and it is such a blessing to know that we are one in Christ, and what we believe. God richly bless you and keep you, and trust one day we shall meet in Heaven with Christ our precious Lord and Saviour.
Thank you for your interesting and informative Newsletter [the Bible Based Ministries Newsletter 35th Anniversary Edition]. Truly your ministry has been blessed of the Lord. We came across you “by chance” (?) around three years ago, and your articles have been welcome and most helpful. Thank you and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family, and may He be your Help and Guide.
Praise the Lord for teaching, guiding, upholding and using your ministry over 35 years! May He continue to bless the word preached in whatever form and may it indeed all be to His honour and glory!
I enjoyed reading your Newsletter [the Bible Based Ministries Newsletter 35th Anniversary Edition] – how wonderfully the Lord taught you in those early days and ordered all your steps until your eyes were fully opened and your understanding enlightened. Those early experiences will have enabled you to understand the problems of others and given you a desire to teach and minister to those who are deceived and in erroneous ministries. The Lord has also granted you much light on the prophetic portions of Scripture and the unfolding of the prophecies in the Book of the Revelation in terms of the history of the world, I have found incredible. The Lord is in control of every single event… nothing happens by chance! What an Omnipotent, Omniscient God we have, and – wonder of wonders – that He should condescend to poor sinners by sending His dearly beloved, only begotten Son into the world to suffer bleed and die for them.
“Oh that my soul could love and praise Him more,
His beauties trace, His majesty adore,
Live near His heart, upon His bosom lean;
Obey His voice, and all His will esteem.’
The Lord be with you and your dear wife, who I am sure is an immense help to you in your labours.
It is wonderful to see the Lord’s providence as we look back, isn’t it! We thank the Lord for using you and your ministry in our lives and pray that there would be many blessed by your ministry (as I am sure there are).
