In my article, The “Islamic Antichrist” Deception, exposing the Futurist theory that the Antichrist will be a man from the Muslim world, I stated that a prominent author promoting this error, who many consider to be a Bible teacher and “prophecy expert”, is Joel Richardson. Well, in 2017 he brought out his latest book, Mystery Babylon, in which he went even further into error, not only continuing to push his “Islamic Antichrist” deception, but sharply criticising the truth regarding the Roman Catholic institution’s connections to ancient Babylon, and arrogantly mocking and belittling Alexander Hislop, the nineteenth-century author of The Two Babylons (in which he proves that the Papal system is the true “Mystery Babylon” of the New Testament period); a man whose research so far exceeds that of Richardson as to make the latter appear to be a pygmy standing in the shadow of a giant.
This is something that puzzles many Christians. If the pope of Rome believes that Roman Catholicism is the only true religion; if he believes that Islam is a false religion; if he is devoted to Europe being “Christian” (i.e. Roman Catholic); and if he knows (as of course he does) that Muslim terrorists are bent on turning Europe into “Eurabia”, a Muslim continent, and that they want to destroy Vatican City State itself and the Roman Catholic influence in Europe (as they certainly do) – then why is he encouraging Muslim immigration into Europe? What is going on?
In early February 2016 came the announcement, in the form of a joint press release: “The Holy See and the Patriarchate of Moscow are pleased to announce that, by the grace of God, His Holiness Pope Francis and His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia will meet on February 12 next. Their meeting will take place in Cuba, where the Pope will make a stop on his way to Mexico, and where the Patriarch will be on an official visit. It will include a personal conversation at Havana’s José Martí International Airport, and will conclude with the signing of a joint declaration.”
To the man in the street this sounded mundane enough. Boring, even, especially to non-Roman Catholics and non-Orthodox. But it was momentous indeed, for many reasons. And every true Christian should take careful note of these developments.
“Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine;
and she shall be utterly burned with fire:
for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.”
ISIS Threatens Rome with Conquest and Slaughter
In February 2015 an extraordinary threat was made by the bloodthirsty Islamic terrorist outfit known as ISIS (the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, now going simply by the name of Islamic State). In a very short space of time, this evil, murderous organisation has spread across a vast swathe of territory, massacring people along the way in extremely brutal and sadistic ways. It is intent on establishing an Islamic state across the entire region. And having expanded into Libya in North Africa, and having taken control of Benghazi, Libya’s second city, it is now just south of Italy, which with 2.2 million Muslims has the fourth-largest Muslim population in Europe. The Italian island of Lampedusa is a mere 109 miles away from Libya, and Sicily is just 300 miles away.
The threat, made in an online video, was this: “Today we are south of Rome. We will conquer Rome, by Allah’s permission”. Continue reading →
