In a move that shocked Protestants across Northern Ireland and around the world, Free Presbyterian minister and leader of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), Ian Paisley, agreed to his party forming a power-sharing government with Sinn Fein, the Roman Catholic/Marxist party behind the diabolical, murderous Irish Republican Army (IRA). And the coalition government came into being on May 8, 2007, with the devolution of power from London to the Northern Ireland Assembly.
