Historian Avro Manhattan described this immigration timebomb graphically back in 1986 when he wrote as follows, in his book, The Vatican Moscow Washington Alliance:
"By 1985, it had already been estimated that such immigration had reached 13 million, with another ‘invisible' three to four million who had infiltrated into the American economic sub-strata without leaving any record or trace. These millions… have become ‘de facto' members of the Catholic Church in America… "
Such mass immigration, potentially is turning America into a Catholic orientated nation. Its illegality is not only discounted, but increasingly ‘legalized' by Catholic inspired legislation sponsored by Catholic or pro-Catholic politicians, Catholic lobbying, and of course the Catholic Church herself….
"The alarming result is not so much the accelerating Catholicization of America, but it is destroying the traditional Protestant motivated America of the past. Furthermore, unless there should be a concerted Protestant reaction, the Catholic Church will emerge as the undisputed dominant church in the U.S. Once this has been achieved, and its acceleration is daily gathering momentum, the leaderless Protestants will have become the denominational mass fodder for an increasingly belligerent Catholic Church."
Way back in 1985, Time magazine stated that the highest number of immigrants to the USA, both legal and illegal, were from Mexico. It said, "Already the growth of the U.S. Hispanic population is one of the most startling phenomena in American social history, and if anything is likely to speed up." It reported Florida Senator Lawton Chiles saying at the time that if the borders were not controlled, within ten years the U.S. would not be recognisable as the U.S. of his day. His prediction has proved true, demographically and (increasingly) culturally. Already California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Florida are very different, culturally, from what they were just a couple of decades ago.
And the U.S. government is doing nothing to prevent it; in fact, powerful elements within the government itself are deeply involved in encouraging illegal, mostly Roman Catholic immigrants. As stated by Henry Cisneros, former mayor of San Antonio, Texas, and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development under Bill Clinton: "These population dynamics will result in… the Hispanization of America. It is already happening and it is inescapable."
In the words of Clinton's former Assistant Secretary of Indian Affairs, Ada Deer, in 1993, this immigration flood "will alter everything in society from politics and education to industry, values and culture." "Ms. Deer is certainly correct in her statement and hints that these folks know exactly what they are doing. As a result of their senselessly flawed immigration policies, America is undergoing the most profound and comprehensive social changes in the nation's history. These changes are not happening by accident or inattention. They are the direct result of government policy and specific legislation and they could be reversed immediately if the government desired." But the government does not so desire. Politicians have been quick to test the political wind and make sure they are on the "right" side. Here are four examples. Former New York mayor, Rudolph Giuliani, stated that he would not help enforce American immigration laws. Democrat Senator Charles Schumer of New York said that the Democrats must "show Hispanics who their real friends are." Sen. Edward Kennedy (a Romanist himself) said, in Spanish, "I see the future of America." And Sen. Hillary Clinton greeted protestors with the words, "Your faces are the faces of America."
