The Communist ‘Freedom Charter’: South Africa’s Real Constitution

In June 2005, the ANC government celebrated the 50th anniversary of the “Freedom Charter”, a Communist document drawn up in 1955 which is the blueprint for the ANC’s government of South Africa, and contains the “ideal” Communist state which the ANC desires, and for which it is working.  It is a document filled with the usual Communist garbage: “The People Shall Govern!”  “The People Shall Share in the Country’s Wealth!”  “The Land Shall Be Shared Among Those Who Work It!”  “There Shall Be Work and Security!”  “The Doors of Learning and Culture Shall Be Opened!”  “There Shall Be Houses, Security and Comfort!”  It speaks of “the national wealth” of the country being “restored to the people”; “the mineral wealth beneath the soil, the banks and monopoly industry” being “transferred to the ownership of the people”; the land being “re-divided amongst those who work it”; education being “free, compulsory, universal”; “rent and prices” being “lowered, food plentiful”; etc.

All typical of Communism, which always promises a heaven on earth.  This is what Communism is all about, after all: the rejection of any belief in a heaven in the afterlife, and the notion that the only heaven there will be is an earthly paradise, which is achieved when a truly Communist society is created.  The truth, however, is that instead of a Communist state being an earthly paradise… it is a fool’s paradise.  It is a dream, an illusion, a mirage, a fantasy.

And yet, as one reads the “Freedom Charter”, once can see that the ANC has already begun to put many of its objectives into place, and is in the process of putting the rest into place as well.  It is all there, in black and white!  And yet the world persists in thinking that SA is a “democracy”, a “republic”, not a Communist state!

The “Freedom Charter” is the real Constitution of South Africa.  In fact, SA’s much-vaunted, ultra-liberal Constitution is to a large extent based upon the “Freedom Charter.”  This was admitted openly by President Thabo Mbeki, when he said in June, “The determination made by the Freedom Charter, that South Africa belongs to all who live in it, black and white, now also reflected in our Constitution….” And he also said: “We will participate in these celebrations inspired that the perspective projected by that basic political statement [the Freedom Charter] now informs our constitutional order and defines the relations among our diverse people.”(italics added) (Source: Independent Online. www.iol.co.za).  And: “the vision projected by the Freedom Charter, which has now found expression in our national Constitution” (The Witness, June 27, 2005).

The ANC is very definitely working to usher in all the goals of the “Freedom Charter”, one by one: to establish a full-fledged, operational Communist state.  SA is a Communist state in that it is ruled by Communists; but every aspect of a Communist state is not yet in place.  The “Freedom Charter” is the blueprint for that.

President Mbeki revealed, as he has done so often before, his (and the ANC’s) deep-seated hatred and bitterness over the fact that whites ever set foot on South African soil.  Writing in the ANC’s online publication, ANC Today, he said that the so-called “Congress of the People” which drew up the “Freedom Charter” in 1955 in Kliptown, SA, gave an opportunity to all South Africans, black and white, to decide together what needed to be done to end the conflict first heralded by the events at Mossel Bay in 1488 with the arrival of the Portuguese (i.e. the first arrival of whites) under the command of Bartholomew Diaz.

He also said: “This month all our people will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the adoption of this one basic political statement of our goals to which all genuinely democratic and patriotic forces of South Africa adhere.” (italics added).

Note that!  For one thing, by no means did all South Africans celebrate this anniversary.  For another thing, he made it clear that the things contained in this Marxist document are the goals of the ANC.  And for yet another thing, by saying that “all genuinely democratic and patriotic forces of South Africa adhere” to the “Freedom Charter”, he was saying that all South Africans who do not adhere to it are not patriotic South Africans!  Of course, this implies that they are enemies of the State – which is precisely how the ANC wants those South Africans, who reject Communism and ANC madness, to be viewed.  In addition, he did what Communists the world over have become so adept at doing ever since the farcical “fall of Communism” way back in the early 1990s: he called those who accept this Communist document the “genuinely democratic forces of South Africa”.  Communists now refer to themselves as “democrats.”  And most of the world has bought this lie.  “Democracy” has become, in much of the world, doublespeak for “Communism.”  How can a terrorist organisation, which operated for decades as such, murdering innocent people, using oppression, terror, and intimidation to get its way, and finally taking power after years of bloody revolution by means of a fraudulent election, by any possible stretch of the imagination be democratic?  Yet this is how the ANC came to power in 1994!  “Democratic forces” indeed!  There never was anything “democratic” about the ANC, and there isn’t anything democratic about it now.  It used the bullet to force people to the ballot, and used the bullet to manipulate the ballot.
